​Hello to all Moorland Road Community Library brilliant borrowers of brilliant books.

We are extending our opening hours!  Starting in April, due to a demand for more after school hours we will be opening from 3-5pm on Thursdays.

This is for a trial period and is currently due to cease on September 26th.

Thank you for your patience in recent months as we all get to grips with the council's new Library Management System. Things seem to be working a lot better, with the reservations in particular.

If you are new to Moorland Road Community Library, then welcome.

Our shelves are jammed packed with books from two collections:

• LibrariesWest books are part of 7 counties local government libraries. 

•  Yellow Sticker Books that belong just to our library. 

​

We  hold yellow sticker books in a separate computer system, which means they don't appear on your council library account. Just pop in for a chat or contact via email for queries or renewals. We use your council library card numbers, so there's just one account number.

​​​​​Overdue books: DON'T PANIC! we just want the books back. The Council will charge for books you have lost and there may be charges for bringing back books late if they have been borrowed from other counties.  ​​
